System Upgrade
5.1-channel Surround System
This unit has a built-in 4-channel amplifier. The procedure
for setting up a 5.1-channel surround system in order to
play DVD software in a way that creates a "you are there"
feel in a car is described below.
Note:
¡ Even if you are using this unit without installing a center
speaker, surround speakers, or a subwoofer, it is still
necessary to make the speaker settings in order to
adjust the sound balance.
Advanced system
This unit can be combined with other components like
shown at right. For more details, refer to the operating
instructions for the connected devices.
Preparation:
The input/output signal setting of this unit should be the
same as the input/output signal setting (NTSC/PAL) of the
devises to be connected. Otherwise, pictures appear incor-
rectly.
