Trusted Platform Module Header
This header is used to connect a
Trusted Platform Module (TPM),
available separately from a third-party
vendor. A TPM is a security device that
allows encryption and authentication of
hard drives, disallowing access if the
TPM associated with it is not installed
in the system. See the table on the
right for pin defi nitions.
JSMB1
A System Management Bus header
for the IPMI slot is located at IPMB for
the H8DG6-F/H8DGi-F serverboards.
Connect the appropriate cable here
to use the IPMB I2C connection on
your system.
