I. OPERATING SYSTEM MODEL VOLTS AMPERES WD-6K 120V WD-9K 120V WD-12K 120V WD-16K 120 V There should be no abnormal noise or vibration, the carbon brushes spark should be small and uniform, and the com- mutator must have a dark brown and uniform strip. - Page 4 4.-Assemble the motor head, and the vacuum cleaner is now ready to use. 2. TO REPLACE FILTER (12 AND 16 GAL) The filter should be changed often to maintain peak performance. Note: This filter is made of high quality materials designed to stop very small particles of dust. Handle the filter carefully when removing it to be cleaned or installed.

TO REPLACE THE MOTOR 3.1 Push release tab outward, at the same time pull cover up 3.2 Remove the four screws 3.3 Remove the cover 3.4 Disconnect the line cord 3.5 Remove the motor assembly 3.6 Replace the motor, reconnect and reassemble NOTE: DO NOT attempt to repair the motor, send for service 4.

IV. TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART FAILURE CAUSE CORRECTION NOT FIRMLY PLUGGED OR CHECK ATTACHMENT PLUG OR DAMAGED. CHANGE THE LINE CORD. NO POWER IN THE OUTLET. VERIFY CURRENT LINE. ON-OFF SWITCH IS DAMAGED DAMAGED OR THERE IS A POOR CORRECT POOR CONTACT. MOTOR OR CONTACT. -
