Troubleshooting

The XPR-1 is carefully designed and manufactured from high-quality precision components
to ensure years of trouble free operation. We really doubt you'll ever have any problems
with your XPR-1 but, if you do, here are a few things you could try:
Problem: No sound is heard (nothing is lit).
Reason: You have no AC power.
Verify that the rear panel AC Power switch is On.
Verify that your circuit is live.
Verify that the line cord on the XPR-1 is fully inserted and is tight.
Problem: The XPR-1 is operating normally, but the front panel LED Meters
aren't operating.
Reason: The front panel LED Meters are set to Off.
The Meter button controls whether the LED Bargraph Meters, Status LEDs, and Accent
Lights are lit. The button cycles through All On, Status LEDs only, All Off, Status LEDs
only, and Status LEDs plus Accent Lighting (but not Meters), each time it is pressed.
Problem: The XPR-1 is operating normally, but the front panel accent
illumination isn't lit (the blue vertical illuminated slots toward the sides).
Reason: The front panel accent illumination is set to Off.
Problem: No sound or distorted sound is heard; (the Standby LED is lit blue;
the Channel Status LED is lit blue).
Reason: The XPR-1 is not indicating a Fault condition.
Check your source.
Check your speaker connection and speaker.
