Window Kit Parts List: Suggested Tools- Phillips Screw Driver (Medium sized), Tape Measure/Ruler, Scissors, Saw (In the event that your window panel needs to be cut down in size for installation). Window Kit Installation Instructions For this portable air conditioner to operate correctly, the hot air from the back of the unit must be vented to the outside. -

Lower the window to secure the window kit in place. You may need to use duct tape to better secure the window kit. EdgeStar Portable Air Conditioner... - Page 8 Connect Exhaust Hose to unit by screwing the hose to the Air Outlet until you have a tight connection. Connect your Exhaust Hose to the Exhaust Hose Adapter by screwing the hose to the adapter until you have a tight connection. Lastly connect the Exhaust Hose Adapter to the Adjustable Window Panel by screwing in until you have a tight connection.

Replacing the Batteries 1) Remove the cover on the back of the remote control. 2) Insert the batteries with the (+) and (-) ends pointing in the correct direction. 3) Install the cover on the remote. CAUTION: Use only AAA batteries. Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for one month or longer. -
