5. STARTUP AND INITIAL TESTING Use of Standard Power Supply The unit is powered by either 2 CR123 lithium or 2 CR123 Li-Ion rechargeable (optional) batteries. Ensure the rechargeable batteries are completely charged before operating (you cannot charge the batteries inside of the device). If the battery is completely discharged, the battery indicator blinks will turn red.
