5. STARTUP AND INITIAL TESTING Use of Standard Power Supply The unit is powered by either 2 CR123 lithium or 2 CR123 Li-Ion rechargeable (optional) batteries. Ensure the rechargeable batteries are completely charged before operating (you cannot charge the batteries inside of the device). If the battery is completely discharged, the battery indicator blinks will turn red. -

7. SYSTEM CONTROLS The ON-OFF control button is used not only to turn on and off the device, but to activate the MENU as well. One short press on this button activates the screen menu that controls brightness and contrast of the screen. An extended press of this button in the main mode turns the device off. -
