Electric Motor Safety
Keepthe electricmotorfree of dirtand debris,especiallyin the throttle
linkagearea.
Neverstartthe electricmotorwithoutchecking to see thatthe throttle
controlis in the idleposition.
Neverstartthe electricmotorunlessyou are properlyseatedwith your
handsfirmly on the controls.
All guardsmustbe in placepriorto startingthe electricmotor.
Operatingthevehiclein conditionswherewater, mud,snow,dirt,
sandor otherdebriscan get intothethrottlecableconduitand/orthe
throttlemechanism cancausethecableor throttlemechanism to bind,
whichmay lead to throttlesticking,lossof control,and possibledeath,
injury,and/orpropertydamage.
Fasteners
Makesurethat all screws,nuts,and boltsare properly tightened.Never
over-tighten hardware that is designedto move,suchas front wheels,
spindles, A -armpivots,etc. Restricting movingpartscan causea loss
of controland possibleinjuryor death.
Alwaysreplacetorque-typeIocknutswithnew Iocknuts of thesame
typeafterremovingthe old Iocknuts.
Charging
Makesuremasterpowerswitchlocatedunderthe seat is turnedon.
Plugchargerintooutletbelowseat cushion. A lightwill illuminate on the
chargerto showthat batteryis beingcharged.Whenthe batteryhasa
full chargea greenlightwill illuminate.Chargingtime usuallylast3-12
hours,howeverthe initialchargeshouldbe 12-24hours.
Batteryshouldbe charged as soonas a lackof poweris shown.Battery
shouldbe chargedat leastonce a monthwhen unitis not beingused
for a long periodof time.
