Storage Procedure
If you do not useyourvehiclefor a longtime, it will needspecialservice
requiringappropriate materials,equipment a nd skill. For this reason,we
recommend thatyou trustthis maintenance work to yourauthorizedservice
center. If you wishto servicethe machinefor storageyourself,follow the
generalguidelines below:
VEHICLE
Placethe vehicleon levelgroundand washthe entirevehicle.Storevehiclein
cool/dryplace.
TIRES
Inflatetires to the normalpressure.
BATTERY
Disconnect b attery.
EXTERNAL
1. Sprayall vinyland rubberpartswith rubberprotection.
2. Sprayunpaintedmetalsurfaceswith rust preventative.
3. Coat paintedand plasticsurfaceswith carwax.
PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING TO SERVICE
1. Cleanthe entirevehicle.
2. Makesure thatthe vehicleis properlylubricated.
3. Performthe INSPECTION BEFORERIDINGas listedin this manual.
4. Startthevehicleas outlinedin this manual.
