Charging (continued)
• Do not use anyothermodelof charger.Don't usea quick charger
if possible,it will effecttheservicelift of the battery.Charging
shouldbe donein a well ventilated area. Do not chargethe battery
near gasor any highlyflammable solvents.
Hightemperatures of thebatteryor abnormalindicator of the
chargerwhilein usecouldmeaneitherbatteryor charger failure.
Stop charging at once and haveit servicedby a certifiedbajaservice
center.
NOTICE: To protect the environment, dispose of old/used
batteries at a certified battery disposal location.
Maintenance
• Do not modifythevehiclefrom the manufacturer's originaldesign
and configuration.
Neverwashor operatethevehiclein freezing temperatures. Water
canfreeze in thethrottlecableconduitand/oron thethrottle
mechanism, p ossiblyresultingin throttlesticking,whichcan cause
the motorto continueto runand resultin loss of control.
Assembly, m aintenance, and/orrepairofthis vehicleshouldonlybe
performedbydesignateddealersor authorizedsmall-engine repair
centersfor motorrepairsto ensurequality work and safevehicle
condition.
Alwaysdisconnectthe batteriesbeforecommencing anywork in
theelectricmotorvicinityor wherethere isa possibilitythatthe
vehiclecouldmoveunexpectedly.
Neveradjust,repair,or cleanthe vehiclewhileit is in motion.
