Protective Clothing/Equipment

weara properlyfitting motorcycle typehelmetapprovedby the
agenciessuchas the Department o f Transportation (DOT),Safety
HelmetCouncilofAmerica(SHCA),or SnellMemorialFoundation
(SNELL).
Alwayswearface shieldsor goggles,boots,glovesand other
appropriate protectiveclothing.
Longhair, looseclothes,or jewelrycanget caughtin movingparts
belowand behindthe seat or yoursurrounding environment.
Removeor tie backanythingloosethat canreachbelowand behind
theseat beforeriding.
Moving Parts
• Neverplacehands,feet, any bodypartsor clothingnear the,wheels,
chainand otherrotatingpartswhileridingor runningthe vehicle.
Useextremecautionwhileperformingmaintenance whilebatteryis
attached
Keepguardsand padsin placeat all times.Preventaccidental
contactby any personwheneverthe vehicleis running.
The guardsover the brake,clutch,torque-converter, axle anddrive
sprocketsalso helppreventmudand debrisfrom contacting those
components.
