The c3000 enclosure is divided into 2 zones or quadrants by the horizontal (vertical on Tower model) support metalwork. Zone 1
includes bays 1, 2, 4, & 5; and Zone 2 contains bays 3, 4, 7, & 8. Within each zone a removable divider is used to support half
height devices. To install a full-height blade in any zone this divider must be removed. An optional mini-divider support bracket is
included with every c3000 enclosure. As a consequence of using the mini-divider in the Zone 2, this zone can only contain one full
height blade and 2 half-height blades. Zone 1 can contain either 4 half-height blades, or by removing the divider, it can contain 2
full-height blades.
NOTE: Please read the RTF card (included with each c3000 enclosure) and the "HP BladeSystem c3000 Setup and Installation
NOTE:
NOTE:
NOTE:
Guide" for more information on using bay dividers and the mini-divider for mixed configurations.

NOTE:
NOTE:
NOTE: Storage or tape blades can be installed in the same zone as both full-height and half-height blades, a bracket ships with
each SB40c that allows a half-height blade to be mounted to the left side of a storage or tape blade.
NOTE: In this case, the SB40c or tape blade cannot be removed without first removing the half height blade and mounting bracket.
