    set the temperature 9 Press and release the left button to increase the temperature. 10 The range is ACRYL (low), NYLON, SILK, POLY, BLEND, WOOL, COTTO, JEANS, LINEN (high). 11 Each press moves the display to the next fabric type. 12 Press and release the right button to reduce the temperature.

    15 If you buy distilled water, check that it’s marketed as suitable for irons. 16 Unplug the iron. 17 Open the water inlet cover 18 Lift the iron till the water inlet cover is about vertical. 19 Pour slowly, and try to pour down one side of the inlet, to allow the air in the reservoir to escape, otherwise you’ll cause an air lock and the water will overflow.

    caution keep clear of the escaping water and steam 76 Press the self clean button, keep it pressed, and gently move the iron to and fro, over the basin or bowl. 77 Water and steam will wash scale through the soleplate, and into the basin/bowl. 78 When the reservoir is empty, release the self clean button.

    connection The product must be earthed. It has a 13A BS1362 fuse in a 13A BS1363 plug. To replace the plug, fit the green/yellow wire to E or E, the blue wire to N, and the brown wire to L. Fit the cord grip. If in doubt, call an electrician.
