Phonebook Operations

In addition to the three memory keys (M1-M3), you can manually save phone records for
your mostly dialed numbers to the Phonebook in your AltoPlus . Follow the steps below to
save up to ten additional records for easy access .
To program the phonebook records:
1 . Press the MENU button, then press the DOWN arrow twice to the "View
PhBook?" screen . You will have the option of choosing "Yes" or "No" . Select "Yes"
by pressing the One (1) button .
2 . "PhBook 1" or the saved name and number will be displayed . (To go to the next
phonebook location, press the DOWN arrow) .
3 . Use the DEL button to delete the text "PhBook 1" or name stored . Next, type in the
name of the record you wish to store, then press ENTER .
4 . Use the DEL button to delete the number to be edited . If there is no number stored,
enter the telephone number you wish to store (up to 31 digits), then press ENTER . The
number is now stored into the phonebook record, then the screen advances to the next
phonebook record (PhBook 2) .
5 . Repeat the steps to program "PhBook 2" .
Dialing the saved numbers (M1-M3 or Phonebook):
Memory keys (M1-M3)
1 . In idle mode, press one of the memory keys; AltoPlus dials out the number stored in that
memory key in speakerphone mode; lift the handset if you wish to transfer the call to
handset mode
- OR -
2 . Lift handset, then press one of the three memory keys - to start the call in handset mode .
Phonebook
1 . In idle mode, follow the steps to display the phonebook record you wish to call .
2 . When the record is displayed on screen, lift the handset to call that number .
