regulator knob, pressure regulator stem and filter are clean and positioned correctly.

level for cooking is 1/5 the height of cooking pot.
3. Check inside the base, where the heating plate and sensor are located, to be sure this
area is clean before inserting removable cooking pot.
4. Close lid and turn counter-clockwise until it locks into position. CAUTION: Gasket
must not be damaged. If damaged, do not use the pressure cooker and contact NESCO
customer service (1-800-288-4545) for replacement.
5. Insert plug into the base and then into 120V electrical outlet.
6. Press START/CANCEL button to clear any previous program before choosing desired
setting. NOTE: Cooker will begin timer when the desired pressure setting is reached.
Cooker will switch to WARM function after cook settings time out, except BROWN
function. If you forget to program desired cooking functions or do not push START button,
the display will show "0000" after 30 seconds and the settings will be lost. Clear previous
settings by pressing CANCEL button, repeat programming steps and push START.
PRESSURE COOKING SETTING:

natural method or quick release method (see below).
Natural Method: After cooking, press the START/STOP button to make sure unit is off.
