NOTE:
Apply the parking brake before replacement.
1. Remove the drive V-belt guard.
2. Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise 1 and
push 2 it so that it separates from the fixed sheave.

3. Pull 3 the belt up over the secondary fixed sheave.
4. Remove the belt from the secondary sheave and pri-
mary sheave.
5. Install the new belt over the primary sheave.

6. Rotate the secondary sliding sheave clockwise 4 and
push 5 it so that it separates from the fixed sheave.

7. Install the belt 6 between the secondary sliding and
fixed sheaves.
8. Install the drive V-belt guard.
WARNING
805-005
Never run the engine without the drive V-belt or with
the drive V-belt guard removed.
