WARNING: When entering or returning from suspended mode, be sure to observe the following

Using Battery Packs
The rechargeable battery pack allows you to operate the GeneSys Computer without an external
power source. When fully charged, a battery pack can supply power to your computer for up to 4
hours (based on power management and normal backlight settings).
Your GeneSys Computer supports Lithium Ion battery packs.
To recharge the battery, connect the AC or DC adapter to the computer as described earlier in
this manual. Approximately 3 hours are required to fully charge a low battery.
Alternatively you can recharge the battery by docking the computer into the vehicle dock or by
inserting the battery pack into the optional desktop charging station. See below for more details
regarding this item.
NOTE: Use only battery packs provided by and/or authorized by Xplore. There is a danger of
explosion if the wrong battery type is used. For environmental reasons, do not throw away a
spent battery pack. Please follow you local guidelines for disposing of battery packs.
If you need to operate your GeneSys on battery power for an extended period of time, you may
need to change or "swap" the battery pack to continue battery-powered operation.
