V-belt holders

Keep a spare V-belt for emergency use by placing it into
the V-belt holders provided.

Make sure that the V-belt is installed securely in the
holders.

Spark plug holders

Keep spare spark plugs for emergency use by placing
them into the spark plug holders provided.

Carburetor coolant shut-off knob

The carburetor coolant shut-off knob controls the flow of
coolant through the carburetor.
Make sure that the knob is in the "ON" position to allow
the coolant to flow and warm the carburetor while the
ambient temperature is below 0 °C (32 °F).

2 "ON" (open)
3 "OFF" (closed)
CAUTION :

When operating the snowmobile in temperatures
above 0 °C (32 °F), move the carburetor coolant shut-
off knob to the "OFF" position to stop the flow of
coolant, since the carburetor does not need to be
warmed.
