    There are no user serviceable parts inside the amplifier. 2. INTRODUCTION With the PAM amplification series, ECLER introduced a new concept to the world of professional audio: The use of switching field effect transistors. The integration of these parts for audio applications represents a firm and spectacular enhancement comparing to conventional amplifiers.

    "enviro", allows for very high output power without the use of bridge configurations. The DPA2000 keeps its “All the Power All the Time” philosophy, even when driving 4 ohm speakers with a musical programme at maximum level.

    The DPA amplifiers are fed with alternate currents, depending on the country, of 110-120, 220-240V 47-63Hz. (see characteristics in the back of the unit) consuming: MODEL DPA600 DPA1000 DPA1400 DPA2000 CONSUMPTION 830VA 1250VA 1720VA 3115VA The mains cables must not be near the shielded cables carrying the audio signal, as this could cause humming.

    3.6. Output connections The OUTPUT section on the rear panel features Speakon connectors (12). Whenever you need to operate the amplifier in BRIDGED mode (mono or bridged), you must set the “STEREO BRIDGED" Switch (11) to BRIDGED. The input signal is taken from the CHANNEL 1 connector and the signal output to the loudspeaker is on pins 2+ and 2- of the Speakon connector “CH1”.

    CLIP/PROT indicators functioning as CLIP indicator. These illuminate when the signal given to the loudspeakers is 1.5dB before the real clip. This CLIP system takes into account the possible variations in the mains voltage always giving a real indication even if the electric mains varies.

INTRODUCCIÓN Con los PAM, ECLER introdujo a principios de los 90 un nuevo concepto en el audio profesional: el empleo de los transistores de efecto de campo de conmutación, su incorporación al audio significa una firme y espectacular mejora en relación a los sistemas convencionales.

    "enviro" posibilita la obtención de muy altas potencias sin necesidad de emplear configuraciones en puente. En la DPA2000 se continúa manteniendo la Filosofía “All the Power All the time”, toda la potencia todo el tiempo incluso a máxima potencia y 4 ohms con programas musicales.

    Las DPA se alimentan con corriente alterna, según el país, de 110-120, 220-240V 47-63Hz.(ver placa de características en el aparato) consumiendo: MODELO DPA600 DPA1000 DPA1400 DPA2000 CONSUMO 830VA 1250VA 1720VA 3115VA Debe evitarse que el cable de red se entremezcle con los cables blindados que transportan la señal de audio, ya que ello podría ocasionar zumbidos.

    Indicadores de CLIP/PROT funcionamiento como indicador de recorte CLIP. Se iluminan cuando la señal entregada a los altavoces está 1,5dB antes del recorte real. Este sistema de CLIP tiene en cuenta las posibles variaciones en la tensión de alimentación, dando siempre una indicación real aunque la red eléctrica varíe.

    1.1. Précautions Le DPA600 a une consommation à pleine puissance de 830VA, le DPA1000 de 1250VA, le DPA1400 de 1720VA, et le DPA2000 de 3115VA. Il est important que l'installation secteur sur laquelle sera raccordée ces amplificateurs soit adéquate.     Indicateurs CLIP/PROT fonctionnant comme indicateur de CLIP. Il s'allume quand le signal de sortie commence à écrêter (-1,5dB avant l'écrêtage réel). Ce système de CLIP tient compte des variations possibles de la tension d'alimentation donnant toujours une indication réelle tandis que la tension électrique varie. Il est normal qu'en travaillant à niveaux élevés, les voyants CLIP s'allument au rythme des fréquences graves, qui sont celles qui ont le plus fort potentiel énergétique.

    Inneren der Endstufe befinden sich keine für den Benutzer gedachte Bedienelemente. 2. EINFÜHRUNG Mit der PAM Verstärker-Serie führte ECLER Anfang der 90er Jahre ein neues Konzept in die Welt des professionellen Audio ein: Die Benutzung schaltender Feld-Effekt Transistoren, deren Gebrauch in Audioanwendungen einen soliden und spektakulären Fortschritt hingegen herkömmlichen Systemen bedeutete.

    Kontakt mit sich. Dieser Kontakt ist der Ursprung eines früher oder später auftretenden Verschleißes und verursacht ein beträchtliches Herabsetzen des Dämpfungsfaktors (damping). Ecler benutzt in der DPA2000 N-Kanal Mosfets. Diese Technologie hat sich bei der industriellen Produktlinie "enviro" höchst effizient erwiesen, da eine extrem hohe Ausgangsleistung ohne Bridge-Konfigurationen ermöglicht wird.

    Die DPA Verstärker können mit Wechselspannungen von 110-120, 220-240V 47-63Hz betrieben werden (siehe Aufkieber auf dem Gerät).     3.6. Anschluß der Ausgänge Der “OUTPUT” Bereich an der Rückseite des Geräts verfügt über Speakon Stecker (12). Wenn Sie den Verstärker im Brückenbetrieb einsetzen (mono oder bridged), müsssen Sie den “STEREO BRIDGE” Schalter (11) auf BRIDGED stellen. Der Eingang des Signals erfolgt dann durch die CHANNEL 1-Buchse des Kanals I, und den Ausgang an die Lautsprecher können Sie von den Pins 2+ und 2- der Speakon Buchse an “CH1”...

    Clip / Überlastungsanzeigen als CLIP Anzeige Die LED's leuchten auf, wenn der Signalpegel am Ausgang 1,5dB unter dem eigentlichen Clippegel liegt. Dieses CLIP System berücksichtigt mögliche Spannungsschwankungen in der Netzversorgung, um immer eine korrekte Anzeige zu erhalten, auch wenn die Stromversorgung ungleichmäßig ist. Es ist normal, daß die Anzeigen bei hohen Ausgangsleistungen im Rhythmus der tiefen Frequenzen aufleuchten, da sie den größten Energieanteil beinhalten.
