Then position the central pan stand (5-burner model) or the resting pan stand (4-burner model) so that the dent rests on the supporting bar of the support pan stand as shown in the figure.

    WARNING: For your safety, you are advised to wear protective gloves while performing any cleaning or extraordinary maintenance. Cleaning the hob To keep the hob in good condition it should be cleaned regularly after use. Let it cool first. 6.1.1 Ordinary daily cleaning To clean and preserve surfaces, always use only specific products that do not contain abrasives or chlorine-based acids.
  • Page 14 Crema inox or standard abrasive creams available in shops. To avoid encrustations which are difficult to remove, you are advised to clean the hob every time you finish cooking. Cleaning the components 6.3.1 Knobs The knobs should be cleaned with lukewarm water and washing up liquid.
  • Page 15 The holes C in the burner crowns should be slid over the igniters and thermocouples D on the hob. DO NOT REMOVE THE FASTENING PLATES TO CLEAN THE HOB. 6.3.4 Igniters and thermocouples For correct operation the igniters and thermocouples must always be perfectly clean.

    Do not fix the hob using silicone as this would make it impossible to remove the hob, if necessary, without damaging it.
  • Page 17 Instructions for the installer Fixing using brackets The figure to the side shows the exact holes to be used to correctly attach the hob to the counter top with brackets. Fix the hob to the unit using the appropriate brackets supplied.
  • Page 18 Keep a minimum distance of 10 mm between the bottom of the appliance and the panel surface (as shown in the figure). If the appliance is instead on an oven installed under the hob, there is no need to install a separating shelf. The oven must be equipped with a cooling fan.

    The cooker hob is preset for natural gas G20 (2H) at a pressure of 20 mbar. For supplying it with other types of gas, see chapter "9. ADAPTATION TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAS".

Carefully screw the adapter unit 4 with double cone to the gas connector 1 of the appliance, placing the supplied seal 3 between them.

Using a 7-mm wrench, remove nozzle E and replace it with the appropriate nozzle, following the instructions in the tables for the type of gas to be used. The nozzle tightening torque must be no more than 3 Nm.

    Make sure that the supply line is suitably earthed. Pass the power supply cable through the back of the unit, taking care that it does not touch the bottom casing of the hob or the oven (if any) installed underneath it.
