Modify your IM settings

Select Options >
following:
Use screen name

Search for IM groups and users

To search for groups, in the
Options > Search. You can search by
and Members (user ID).
To search for users, in the
Options > New IM contact
You can search by User's name,
and E-mail address.

Join IM groups

The IM groups view shows a list of the IM groups that you
have saved or are currently joined to.
To join a saved IM group, press the joystick.
To join an IM group that is not on the list, but for which
you know the group ID, select
To leave the IM group, select
IM groups view, select
Group name, Topic,
IM contacts view, select
> Search from server.
