Security Settings; Restore Factory Settings - Nokia THR880 User Manual

To activate an access point and to change its settings:
1. Press Menu and select Settings
2. Select Active access point, scroll to the access point you want to use
and press Activate.
3. Select Edit active access pointto change the access point settings.
• Scroll to Alias for access point
you would like for the activated access point and press OK.
• Scroll to Access point
Name (APN) and press OK.

Security settings

Press Menu and select Settings,
• PIN code request to set the radio to ask for your PIN code every time
the radio is switched on.
Note: If you enter an incorrect PIN code five times in succession, the
code is blocked and you need to enter the security code to unblock
the PIN code.
• Configure access levels to change what kind of access rights are
required for certain functions. You need to enter the configuration
code for this function.
• Access level to change your user level
determines what kind of access rights you have. You need to enter
the access level code for this function.
• Change of access codes to change the PIN code or the security code.
See Access codes on page 13.
Note that you should avoid using access codes similar to the
emergency numbers, such as 112, to prevent accidental dialling of
the emergency number.

Restore factory settings

Press Menu, select Settings and
reset some of the menu settings to their original values. You need to
enter the security code for this function.
