Selecting rating level and password
To clear your 4-digit password
Follow the step-by-step procedure below if you
forgot or do not know the 4 digit password.

Turn on the SETUP screen

Press
to select and highlight"Pass-
word"

Enter the following 6-digit nomber and
press enter: 210499 ENTER
Note: The #210499 will not appear in the
screen.

Enter a new password following the
instructions in the "setting your pass-
word" section
.
Setting your password (DVD only)
If you change the rating level to "7" or lower, you must enter a 4-
digit "password" to prevent playback of discs with higher ratings.
At the SETUP screen, press

Input a 4-digit password and press ENTER.
Example : 1234
Do not forget your password.
Input the 4-digit password again and press ENTER
to verify.
Setting is finished.
The rating is locked. Any discs whose rating is higher than the
setting

At the SETUP screen, press
