This operation may take a minute or more, depending on the com-

plexity of the disc.

When the finalization operation is complete, the display will show:

You can now remove the discs using the eject buttons on the drives

(these are disabled while the copy process is taking place). Alter-

natively, you can compare the original with the copy (see:

pare

CD-ROM").

3.2 Test Write Mode

The test operation is functionally similar to the write operation, except

that the writing of data to the slave disc is simulated. This is useful to

make sure that data can be transferred at the selected rate between

the master and the slave discs.

Press the MODE key until the display shows:

Press ENTER

Insert the disc into the disc tray (original in the MASTER, and the

blank CD-Rs in the SLAVE drives) and press the ENTER key. The

test operation continues in exactly the same way as the copy op-

eration described above.
