pulse signaling).

Deactivating and reactivating automatic
attenuation equalization
If a device is delivered with automatic attenuation
equalization, automatic attenuation equalization is
always activated on delivery and should (normally)
remain activated.
Automatic attenuation equalization can be deactivated
in the following exceptional case: when your base
unit is connected to a telephone system.
