Transferring calls,
conference calls
Outside calls can be transferred or a
conference call with an outside party can
be made:
– between 2 handsets.
– between a handset and the base unit.
Handset

During an outside call, press 4 to
put the call on hold.

{V}/{^}: Select the desired unit. i

Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If the paged party does not
answer, press ^ to return to the
outside call.

To complete the transfer:
Press {ic}.
L The outside call is being routed to
the destination unit.
To establish a conference call:
Press w.
L To leave the conference, press
{ic}. The other 2 parties can
continue the conversation.
L To put the outside call on hold,
press H. To resume the
conference, press w.
Base unit

During an outside call, press {x}.
L All registered handsets beep for 1
minute.
L When 2 or more handsets are
registered, you can page a
specific handset from the base
unit by storing handset numbers
to speed dial keys ({I} to {III})
(page 23, 24).

Intercom/Locator

Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If paged party does not answer,
press {x} to return to the outside
call.

To complete the transfer:
Press {s}.
L The outside call is being routed to
the handset.
To establish a conference call:
Press {s} and then press {s}
again.
L To leave the conference, press
{s}. The other 2 parties can
continue the conversation.
Note for handset and base unit:
L If you want to return to the outside call
after the paged party answers, press
W on the handset or press {x} on
the base unit.
Answering a transferred call
Handset
Press {C} to answer the page.
Base unit
Press {s} to answer the page.
