• Restoring the Mondo GSM connection
If you accidentally delete the Mondo GSM connection, it can be restored as follows:
1- Close the Telephone application.
2- Open it again.
This simple operation is all that is required to restore the Mondo GSM connection.
However, you then need to reset the parameters for this connection using the
information supplied by your ISP.
The procedure is described in the section "Setting the pre-programmed Mondo
GSM connection parameters".
• Trouble shooting
Problem
It is not possible to connect.
I have accidentally deleted
my Mondo GSM connection.
My user name and password
have not been saved.
All my connection parameters
have disappeared.
When I click on "Disconnect",
the system does not discon-
nect.

Check that the Telephone application is enabled and that you
are in an area covered by your operator's network.
Check the modem connection parameters, in particular the
number dialled.
Check the dialling mode.
Check the user name and connection password.
Check that the "domain" field is blank.
Close the Telephone application. Then open it again.
The Mondo GSM connection is restored immediately.
However, you need to reset the parameters for this con-
nection following the instructions in the section "Setting the
parameters for the Mondo GSM connection".
You have not checked the Save password box.
Or you clicked on [Cancel] immediately afterwards.
Refer to the section "Setting the Mondo GSM connection
parameters" to find out how to save your password.
You do not have a back-up battery and you have removed the
battery from your Mondo for too long a time. Reconnect the
supply to your Mondo, then reset the Mondo GSM connection
parameters following the instructions in the section "Setting
the Mondo GSM connection parameters").
Check that you are disconnecting using the application you
used to connect. Otherwise:
1- Select the application Today in the

connection status.
3- Click on Disconnect.
An audible signal indicates that your Mondo is no longer connec-
ted.
