1- "Answer" key.
2- "Hang up" key.
3- "Hands free" key.
WARNING: Do not put the receiver to
your ear when you are telephoning in
hands-free mode.
4- Function keys:
The function of these keys may vary
depending on the information dis-
played in the screen situated above.
These function keys enable a WAP
connection to be launched directly,
or access to the main Telephone
application menu.
5- "Up / Down" and "Right / Left" navi-
gation arrows:
Ø Tap on the
vertically through the menus or
folders displayed on the screen.
You may also use the jog wheel,
or your stylus (for more details,
see page 17).
Ø Tap on the
main menu of the telephone appli-
cation or make your selections.
Ø Tap on the
der or return to the previous screen.
6- Alphanumeric keys:
Tap on these keys to enter figures,
symbols or letters, or display pre-
recorded telephone numbers.

PLEASE NOTE*: If the Mode of Operation
is set at Modem and if your Mondo is
connected to a GPRS network, the small
Telephone screen situated in the upper left
hand corner of the screen of your Mondo
will be presented with the following appea-
rance:

* Mondo GSM/GPRS only.
A- GSM signal quality indicator (or
GPRS*).
A high number of vertical bars (maxi-
mum 4) shows you that the reception
of the signal is of good quality. This
indicator does not appear if the zone in
which you are situated is not covered
by the network.
B- Name of the network and / or the
operator.
C- Battery charge indicator (depending
on the model).
The battery charge indicator is displayed
continuously to indicate the battery char-
ge when the Telephone application is
started.
Four levels may be displayed:
charged,
medium charge,
low. When your battery is nearly flat, the
symbol flashes on the screen.
PLEASE NOTE: The Telephone appli-
cation may close automatically if the
battery is too low.
Symbols can appear in the navigation bar
to show you the connection state of your
Mondo*:
: Appears when your Mondo is connected
to the GPRS network.
: Appears when communication is in pro-
gress (voice calls or data transfer).
: Appears when your Mondo is connected
to the GPRS network via one of the GPRS
1, GPRS 2 or GPRS 3 remote connections,
or even via a WAP connection with a
Data type profile.
