Restarting the Auto Setup/Resetting the VCR to the Shipping
Condition/Setting the VCR's Clock
Performing Auto Setup automatically tunes all TV stations
available in your area for the VCR.
Restarting this function is convenient when you move to
another area and may need to set up the VCR again.
To Restart the Auto Setup
To perform the Auto Setup again, follow the operation steps
below.
1 Press the MENU button U to display the Main menu on
the TV screen.
2 Press the Cursor buttons
(3421) R to select "Tuning"
and "Auto-Setup Restart" in this
order.
3 Press the OK button T to prepare for Auto Setup start.
4 Press the OK button T again to
actually start the Auto Setup.
To Return the VCR to the Shipping
Condition
If you want to reset the VCR to the factory preset condition,
follow the operation steps below.
1 Press the MENU button U to display the Main menu on
the TV screen.
2 Press the Cursor buttons
(3421) R to select "Tuning"
and "Shipping condition" in this
order.
3 Press the OK button T to
prepare for resetting the VCR to
the shipping condition.
4 Press the OK button T two more times to actually
change the settings back to the shipping condition.
≥ To re-tune the VCR, disconnect and reconnect the AC
Mains Cable.

Press the MENU button U to display the Main menu on
the TV screen.
Press the Cursor buttons (34) R to select "Clock".
≥ The Clock setting menu appears on the TV.
Use the Cursor button (1) R to
move to the Clock setting menu.
Use the Cursor buttons
(3421) R to set the date and
time.
≥ Instead of the Cursor buttons (3421) R, you can
also use the Numeric buttons 2 to set the date and
time. (Set the VCR/TV switch P to "VCR".)
Press the OK button T to conclude the setting.
Press the EXIT button S to exit the On Screen Display.
