L To erase a restricted number, press {C}.

L If you put a first digit in step 9, the previously
stored number will be all cleared. We
recommend you to write down the previously
stored number.
9.6.2 Other options
Changing the base unit PIN (personal
identification number)
For security, the base unit PIN must be entered
when changing certain settings. The default PIN
is "0000".
Important:
L If you change the PIN, please make note of
your new PIN. The unit will not reveal the
PIN to you. If you forget your PIN, consult
your nearest Panasonic service centre.
1. Press $ (centre of joystick).
2. Select u, then press ,.
3. Enter "0000" (default base unit PIN).
L If you changed the PIN, enter it.
4. Select "Other Option", then press ,.
5. Select "Change Base PIN", then press
,.
6. Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN.
7. Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN again.
8. Press {ih}.
Resetting the base unit advanced features
to their default settings
The base unit advanced features (page 65 to
page 68) can be reset with the cordless handset.
1. Press $ (centre of joystick).
2. Select u, then press ,.
3. Enter "0000" (default base unit PIN).
L If you changed the PIN, enter it (page 78).
4. Select "Other Option", then press ,.
5. Select "Reset Base", then press ,.
6. Select "Yes", then press ,.
7. Press {ih}.
Note:
L The ECM setting (feature #68 on page 67)
will not be reset.
L You can also reset the base unit advanced
features with the base unit (feature #80 on
page 68).
