The base unit's default PIN is "0000".

Setting time break/earth recall
Select either time break recall or earth recall
to suit your PBX or service provider. If you
select earth recall, an earth relay must be
installed. For further information, consult
your nearest Panasonic service centre.

Press {v} repeatedly to display
"SETTING BS", then press {>}.
Press {5}.
Enter the current 4-digit base unit PIN.
Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN.
Enter the new 4-digit base unit PIN again.
Press {ih}.
Press {j}.
Press {v} repeatedly to display
"SETTING BS", then press {>}.
Press {2} 2 times.
Select the desired setting by pressing {1}
for low, {2} for medium, {3} for high or
{0} for off.
Press {>}, then press {ih}.
Press {j}.
