8. Troubleshooting

Symptom
Power cannot be
turned on.
[REC] and [PLAY]
buttons do not work.
REC cannot be
started even if
pressing [REC]
button.
Playback image is
not displayed on the
monitor.
Menu screen is not
displayed.
Unable to play back
audio sound.
! If there's any other problem, contact your nearest JVC dealer.
Cause
・Is the power cable properly
connected?
・Is the Operation Lock turned
on?
・Is it in the state of Timer
Standby?
・Is the monitor properly
connected?
・Does it connect to SPOT
OUT?
・Is the audio recording
selected when recording
setup?
・Is audio volume properly
setup when audio recording?

・Plug the supplied power
cable to the outlet
・Turn off the Operation
Lock
・Remove the check of
"schedule recording".
・Connect the monitor
properly.
・Connect to MONITOR
OUT.
・Select audio recording
when set-up recording.
・set-up audio volume
properly when set-up
audio recording.
