STEP 2:
INSTALLATION OF THE WINCH CONTROL
SWITCH
Install the relay (item 1).

*If necessary use the nylon tie wraps to secure the
relay in place.
** Install in a sheltered place away from bad weather.
Before drilling the hole, check behind the dashboard
to make sure there is enough space to install the
switch.
Drill a 1/2'' hole in the dashboard or an appropriate
place (see reference drawing). Stick the UP/DOWN
decal over the hole for the switch.
Insert the switch in the hole and secure in place with
the rubber boot.
NOTE: It is important to install the switch vertically.
Connect the wires as shown.
When the switch is raised, the winch must lift the
accessory. If you prefer the contrary, invert the green
and black wires.

IMPORTANT
To prolong the winch cable's life, release the winch control switch as soon as the accessory touches the
ground. This will keep the cable from tangling up which causes premature wear.

Action
Install in an appropriate

Secure relay in place.
