CAUTION!
1. DO NOT POUR WATER
directly onto the printer.

detergent directly onto any
cover or panel.
3. NEVER USE THINNER OR
OTHER VOLATILE
SOLVENT on the plastic
covers.

covers, or the supply
window with alcohol as it
may cause them to discolor,
loose their shape or
develop structural

4.1.3 Optional Cutter Module

WARNING!
1. Be sure to turn the power
off before cleaning the
Cutter Module.
2. As the cutter blade is
sharp, care should be
taken not to injure
yourself when cleaning.
Wipe the covers and panels with a dry soft cloth or a cloth slightly
moistened with mild detergent solution.
The scissor cutter and rotary cutter are available as an option. They are
both cleaned in the same way. When removing the Cutter Cover of the
rotary cutter unit, remove the screws from the bottom of the cover.
1. Loosen the two screws to remove the Cutter Cover.
2. Remove the Plastic Head Screw to detach the Media Guide.
3. Remove the jammed paper.
4. Clean the Cutter with a soft cloth slightly moistened with alcohol.
5. Reassemble the Cutter Module in the reverse order of removal.
