Initial Settings

The [Language/u] screen appears when the camera is turned on for
1 the first time (p.36). Perform the operations in "Setting the Display
Language" below to set the language, and in "Setting the Date and Time"
(p.41) to set the current date and time.
The language, date, and time can be changed later. Refer to the pages below
for instructions.
• To change the language, follow the steps in "Changing the Display Language"
(1p.169).
• To change the date and time, follow the steps in "Changing the Date and
Time" (1p.164).

Setting the Display Language

Use the four-way controller (2345) to choose the
desired display language.

Press the 4 button.
The [Initial Setting] screen appears in
the selected language. If the desired
settings for [Hometown] and [DST]
(Daylight Saving Time) appear,
proceed to Step 9.
Proceed to Step 3 if the desired
settings do not appear.
