Quick Installation
Appendix A
Appendix A will give you a simplified installation procedure, in order to
allow you to install your mainboard quickly and correctly.
If you need further information or if you need to change some other settings,
begin reading from Chapter 1.
Installing the CPU:
CPU into the socket, and lower the lever back in position. Don't worry, if you
don't remember the correct orientation, you will not be able to insert the CPU if
it is wrong.
Adjusting CPU voltage and speed:
Please refer to page 2-16.
Installing FDD:
of the cable to the FDC pin connector on the mainboard.
Note: Be sure that the red line on the cable connects to the first pin of the
connectors.
Installing HDD:
end to IDE1 pin connector on the mainboard.
Note: Be sure that the red line on the cable connects to the first pin of the
connectors.
Quick Installation
Lift up the lever of the CPU socket, insert your
FDC- Connect one end of the 34-pin cable that comes
with the drive to the FDD connector, and the other end
IDE1- Connect one end of the 40-pin cable that comes
with the drive to the HDD connector, and the other
