6-4. Displaying 3D Images

This monitor supports stereo signal output in conformance with VESA standards.
3D images can be displayed by meeting the following conditions.

Conditions

• 3D image signals (frame sequential format, vertical scan frequency 120 Hz) are being input.
• Prepare 3D glasses and an IR emitter supported by the monitor.

Attention
• For details on 3D glasses and the IR emitter, refer to the respective manuals.

Procedure

1. Connect an IR emitter to the VESA stereo connector.
2. Output 3D image signals from the PC.
3. Check images on the monitor.
Wear 3D glasses and check that the image produces the stereoscopic effect.
If the display does not appear to be stereoscopic
The left and right eye images may be reversed. Switch the left/right eye images by either of the following
procedures.
Change the setting on the PC
Refer to the manual of the PC for the procedure.
Switch the polarity of the 3D image sync signals on the monitor
Procedure
1. Press
The Button Guide is displayed above the front buttons.
2. Press
The sync signal polarity changes, and the left/right eye images switch.
Attention
• This setting is not saved to the monitor. Apply setting again after turning off and on the monitor, or changing the input
signal.
