Chapter 7 Glossary DisplayPort DisplayPort is a next-generation digital AV interface that allows connection of the PC, audio, imaging devices, etc. to the monitor. One cable can transfer sound with images. DVI (Digital Visual Interface) DVI is a digital interface standard. DVI allows direct transmission of the PC’s digital data without loss. This adopts the TMDS transmission system and DVI connectors. - Page 36 Overdrive This technology enhances response speed by increasing the potential difference at the time of motion of liquid-crystal pixels, and it is used for liquid-crystal TV sets and others in general.
