Lift and remove motherboard. Screw the brass standoffs into the threaded holes that line up with your motherboard. Do not over-tighten the standoffs. Some standoffs may be pre-installed for your convenience. Place your motherboard on the brass standoffs. Fasten your motherboard to the standoffs with the provided Phillips-head screws. Your motherboard is now installed.
Connect the appropriate connector(s) from the power supply to the hard drive(s) and the motherboard. 2.6 External 5.25” Device Installation There are three external 5.25” drive bays. Carefully remove the metal plate covering the drive bay. Make sure the clip on the end of the drive rail is angled away from the device and facing forward.
You will find a SATA connector on a cable attached to the front ports. This internal SATA connector is designed to connect to a SATA connector on your motherboard. This will allow high-speed external hard disk enclosures such as the Antec MX-1 to run at the same speeds as internally installed hard disks.
