Finding Points of Interest
In the Select Stop screen,
use the D-pad to choose the
POI
icon to search for and/or
enter a point of interest as a
destination.

In the first POI screen you have the option to choose a
Category and Type of POI. Use the left and right cursors on
the D-pad to toggle through the various options on the
Category and Type lists. To narrow your search and cut down
on the time it takes, you can also type the first few letters of a
place you have in mind in the "Starting With" box. When you
have entered a name select

In the next screen, you can tell Gizmondo Navigator to
search
Near current location
GPS signal is present.
Alternatively, choose
Near a city
or postal code in the next two screens.
Press
fast forward

When the search process is complete, a scrollable list of
matches will appear. In this screen you have several choices,
you can:
Highlight a POI and press the
Gizmondo to preview it on the
R Menu
Press the
the area of the search (this can be done twice)
Use the D-pad to highlight a POI and press
fast forward
to enter it as a destination.
