Lens and Built-in Flash
Depending on the lens used with this camera, the use of the built-in flash
may not be available or may be limited due to vignetting.
The built-in flash cannot be regulated and fully discharges when A lenses
not set to the s position, lenses manufactured prior to the A lenses or soft
focus lenses are used.
DA, DA L, D FA, FA J, and FA lenses not listed below can be used without
problems.
* The following lenses were evaluated without a hood.

Restrictions
Vignetting may occur if the focal length is less
than 20 mm.
When the focal length is less than 28 mm, or
when the focal length is 28 mm and the shooting
distance is 1 m or less, vignetting may occur.
When the focal length is 20 mm or less or when
the focal length is 35 mm and the shooting
distance is less than 1.5 m, vignetting may occur.
When the focal length is less than 24 mm or
when the focal length is 35 mm and the shooting
distance is 1 m or less, vignetting may occur.
Vignetting may occur if the focal length is less
than 35 mm.
Vignetting may occur if the focal length is less
than 24mm.
Vignetting may occur if the focal length is 28 mm
and the shooting distance is less than 1 m.
Built-in flash always discharges fully.
