Setting Your Target Zone
The Target Zone - Your watch will provide
both a visual indicator (by flashing the heart
rate digits) and an audible alarm (beeping) if
your heart rate is above or below your target
zone range. The "TZ" indicator with the
" " or " " will indicate if your heart rate is
within, above or below the set target zone
respectively. The beeping alarm can be turned
on or off by pressing and holding the ALARM
button (indicated by the " " on the display).
1. From Heart Rate Mode

2. Age (blinking)
- set by using the RESET
button.
- Press the MODE/SET
button to proceed to the
next item. (If you want
to use the built-in setting
from 65%-85% of your
max, set only your age
and skip steps 4 & 5.)
3. Target Zone Alarm
(blinking)
- set ON or OFF with the
RESET button.
- Press the MODE/SET
button to proceed to the
next item.
4. Target Zone Upper Limit
(blinking)
- set by using the RESET
button.
- Press the MODE/SET
button to proceed to the
next item.

Basic Use of Setting Modes

The clock setting is accessed from the Time/Date
mode, and the Target Zone setting is accessed
from the Heart Rate mode.
• Press and hold the MODE/SET button to
enter setting mode.
• Adjust blinking digits with the RESET button.
• Press RESET to increase the digits. Press and

hold to change the digits faster.
• Proceed to the next setting option with the
MODE/SET button.
• Press and hold the MODE/SET button to exit
the setting mode.
Note: If no button is pressed after 60 seconds,
the watch will automatically exit the setting
mode.
