    UTP and Uplink Ports The UTP ports on the front panel, numbered 1 through 8 (KNE8TX/RS), 1 through 12 (KNE12TX/RS), or 1 through 24 (KNE24TX/RS), support 100BASE-TX connections. Since the crossover function is implemented on all UTP MDI-X ports, a straight-through cable should be used to connect to a workstation.
