Setting up the hob

Activating the
burners
The following should be
done:
A spark will be produced
by all the burner igniters
simultaneously

There are 4 gas burners on the hob. This section
explains how to use the gas burners.

Please make sure that the burner covers are firmly in
place on top of the burner assemblies. The burner
channels should not be filled. All components must be
clean and dry.
1. Open up the hob lid. The lid must be up whilst the
hob is in use.
2. Push the switch of the burner you wish to ignite
and turn it to the left until the big flame , symbol
appears.
3. Keep on pushing the switch and push the lighter
button. The gas burner ignites.
4. Push the burner button for about 1 to 3 seconds.
This ensures that the flame safety system is
activated. If the gas flame is turned off, the safety
system will cut the gas flow automatically.
