Ensure that the hotplates are never switched on when
the decorative lids are on, e.g. by children playing.
Keep the hotplates dry. Salt water or wet saucepan
bases will damage the hotplates.
Clear spills immediately. Use deep pots for meals with
a lot of liquid. This will prevent the food from boiling
over.
Never operate the hotplates without a pan on them.
Do not use pots with uneven bases. Not enough heat
will be drawn from the hotplate. They may glow red.
Do not cover the hob with oven protective foil. It may
cause damage.
The area between the hotplates heats up if the
hotplates are switched on for a long time. This is
inherent in the design.
Do not place the baking tray on the oven floor. Do not
cover it with aluminium foil. Do not place dishes on the
oven floor.
This will cause heat accumulation. The baking and
roasting times will no longer be correct and the
enamel will be damaged.
Never pour water directly into a hot oven. This will
damage the enamel.
When baking very moist fruit cakes, do not put too
much on the baking sheet. Fruit juice dripping from
the baking sheet leaves stains that cannot be
removed. It is recommended that you use the deeper
universal pan.
Do not stand or sit on the open oven door.
Do not place hot objects in the plinth drawer. It could
become damaged.
Only leave the oven to cool with the door closed. The
fronts of adjacent units may be damaged over time
even if you only leave the oven door open slightly.
