Pull the buttonhole lever down as far
as it will go.

Raise the foot and put the needle
thread through the hole and under
the foot. Draw both threads to the
left. Insert the fabric under the foot
and lower the needle at the starting
point. Lower the foot.

between the slider and front stop. If
there is a gap, the length of the right and
left rows of the buttonhole will differ.
