The adapter modules bays each hold Adapter Module Bays. an adapter module. A variety of modules are available, and each is designed to accept a different Fujitsu battery. The power cable Supplies power to the charger. Power Cable. The power switch turns AC power on and off.
1. Ensure the power cable is disconnected from the charger. 2. Select the correct adapter module(s) for the battery(s) you want to charge in one or both of the bays. 3. Position the battery plug access hole and the hole below it over the two adapter guides on the battery charger base (see Figure 4).
Batteries will only fit correctly in one orientation. In the following steps, be sure the battery is oriented correctly before installing it. When the edge of the battery is flush with the front of the charger, the connector on the bottom of the battery should be aligned with the connector on the adapter.
• When disconnecting the power cord, do not pull on the cable. Always remove by grasping the plug body. • If the battery charger smokes, smells hot, heats abnormally, or makes noise, disconnect the power cord, and contact your Fujitsu reseller (see “Fujitsu America Contact Information”...
