WHAT IS A TETHER?

Tether anchor locations vary from vehicle to vehicle. Check
your vehicle owner's manual and look for the tether anchor
symbol as shown. A tether reduces movement of a forward
facing child restraint in a crash and helps to achieve a tight
installation.
