Using the answering machine
If no messages are stored on the
answering machine, you will hear, "You
have no messages" or "You have no
new messages".
Message indicator
Flashes when there are new answering
machine messages.
Loudspeaker volume
You can adjust the base loudspeaker
volume at any time. In standby, you
hear a beep which gets louder or
softer. A double beep signifies the
highest or lowest setting. Use the

buttons.
Cancel operation

to end any operation at
any time.

Listening to your messages

When you have new messages recorded on your answering
machine, the Messages light will flash.
Using the base:
1. To play all messages: Press and hold
messages is announced. The day and time of recording is also
announced. Your messages are then played back, with the
oldest message played back first.
To play new messages: only press and release
During playback:
Pause/resume playback.
Once repeats the current message, twice plays
the previous message.
Press to play the next message. Or press and hold to play
message at fast speed.
Deletes the current message and you hear
"Message deleted".
Stops playback, machine goes back to Answer On.
At the end of playback:
The machine announces, "End of messages. To delete all
messages, press delete". The machine counts down for 8
