Base settings
Your System PIN can help prevent
unauthorised users from changing
the settings on your phone.
If you have changed the PIN and
cannot remember it, please
contact the Helpline on 0870 605
8047
The default PIN setting is 0000.
If you change your PIN, keep
a note of the new number by
writing it in the space provided
on page 90.
Protecting your settings
When entering a PIN the digits are
shown as asterisks.
The First ring setting is set to ON
(the default setting).
With some connections to the
public telephone network, you may
experience a short burst of
ringtone when receiving a text
message. If you want to stop this
happening, you can change the
First ring setting to OFF.
