Switchboard Compatibility - BT CONVERSE 2015 User Manual

All items of telephone equipment have a
Ringer Equivalence Number (REN), which is
used to calculate the number of items which
may be connected to any one telephone line.
The Converse 2015 has a REN of 1. Any other
instrument provided by BT may be assumed
to have a REN of 1 unless otherwise stated.
A total REN of 4 is allowed.
Generally this telephone may be connected to
switchboards which support tone and pulse
signalling and timed break recall. In the event
of any difficulties, please consult your
switchboard service provider.
